The Southern Illinois University Clinical Psychology Diversity and Inclusion Committee (Psy Di) is comprised of graduate students from the Clinical Psychology program. It strives to improve the diversity and inclusion of the SIU Clinical Psychology doctoral program, which will benefit the larger community. The committee works to make the field of clinical psychology more accessible to and supportive of traditionally marginalized and underrepresented individuals. The committee functions to advocate for current students and create an inclusive and open environment for current and future students. The committee additionally seeks out educational events and speakers focused on diversity and inclusion. Additionally, the committee hosts philanthropy events on an annual basis to support the surrounding community. The SIU Clinical Psychology Diversity and Inclusion Committee will continue to learn, grow, and adapt to the everchanging culture and needs of the SIU Clinical Psychology program and the surrounding community.
